Audit & Assurance
On-site assessments and desktop reviews with diagnostics to ensure rules are embedded effectively.
A rule on paper and a rule in practice are not the same thing. Our audits test whether each Life-Saving Rule is genuinely understood, applied and supported where the work happens. We combine desktop reviews of your procedures, permits and records with on-site observation and worker interviews, then give leadership a clear diagnostic of where controls are strong, where they are drifting, and what to fix first.

Frequently asked questions
What does a Life-Saving Rules audit check?
It checks whether each rule is clearly communicated, whether the supporting controls (permits, isolations, gas tests, lift plans, fall protection and so on) are actually in place on the job, whether people understand the rules, and whether breaches are reported and handled consistently.
What is the difference between an on-site assessment and a desktop review?
A desktop review examines your documents and records — procedures, permits, training records and incident data. An on-site assessment observes real work and talks to the people doing it. The two together show both what is supposed to happen and what actually happens.
How often should Life-Saving Rules compliance be audited?
Most organisations combine continuous field checks by supervisors with a periodic independent assessment, for example annually or after a significant change such as a new contractor, a new site or a serious incident.
What do we receive at the end of an audit?
A clear diagnostic report: findings rule by rule, the underlying causes, and a prioritised action plan. We can also return to verify that the actions have been closed out and are working.
